What to expect...
Warm hearts, helping hands, and bright smiles working toward meeting the needs of our neighbors near and far. Recognizing that living Christian values means giving of ourselves and of our resources, CrossRoads Cares promotes fundraisers and 'food-raisers' to benefit the hungry and homeless in our local community (LUM, Habitat, etc.) and in our world (World Vision - 30 Hour Famine). Crossroads Cares also promotes hands-on mission experiences for our youth and young adults by hosting fundraisers to offset mission trip expenses and by sponsoring mission scholarships.

Did you know...
While working with Mission Indy, the group installed a wheelchair ramp, demolished old school rooms, learned more about each other, and showed God's love to a whole community. An annual, overnight mission trip to Mission Indy that typically involves re-habbing blighted homes and buildings, this experience includes mission work, mixed with bible study, worship (including a live band!), discussion time, and lots of fun and laughter. Don't miss...
• Power tools • Awesome devotions • Unforgettable memories A week-long mission trip for rising 9th graders to graduated seniors where faith is experienced through service, worship, study and leadership. What to expect...
• Blood, sweat and tears (well, maybe just the sweat!) • Connecting with God and others A mission experience open to all CR Adult Leaders, this mission trip not only serves as a way to model our values and beliefs for our youth and young adults, but provides an opportunity for the adults to spend some time out of their usual routines to connect with God and with others. Those who participate are always amazed at the refreshing that such mountain top experiences provide! |
