There are several ministries that have opportunities for you to serve on an ongoing basis. There are also some time-specific opportunities listed as well. Take a look and if any of these ministries touches your heart, reach out to the contact person listed in the descriptions below.

Other opportunities can also be found on our Community Ministries and Regional and Global Ministries pages.

What a year for Blessing Boxes! It’s been a tough year for a lot of people and volunteers at St. Andrew always come through with a little extra love this time of year.  Approximately 75 people will receive a specially-wrapped box of holiday cookies—but we need help making it happen! We need bakers, packers, and drivers—all working under the safest conditions possible. *Masks and gloves will be provided for all who help pack cookies at the church. Sign up to bake cookies, pack cookies, or deliver boxes by clicking the button below.

Bake, Pack or Deliver - Blessing Boxes

We are always looking for people who have a heart for kids and students to join our amazing team of volunteers! Please reach out to Desire', Director Family Ministries, to chat about where your gifts might best be utilized, whether that is behind the scenes, leading a group, helping with VBS, etc. All volunteers who work with minors must attend St. Andrew for six months, pass a criminal background check, and participate in Safe Sanctuaries training.

InTouch Ministries offer many opportunities to serve others, particularly within the St. Andrew fellowship. Everything from cookie making, assembling Blessing Boxes, visiting shut-ins, cooking and delivering meals, making and sending cards, growing and sharing garden produce, and other acts of love are all welcomed. Contact Gina Riendeau for more information about how you can serve!

The Music Ministries are open to anyone who loves to share their musical talent with our congregation for the glory of God. Our Chancel Choir and Praise Team are always looking to welcome new faces.

Although some of our musical groups are not currently practicing or performing due to COVID-19 restrictions, there are still opportunities for taking part by sharing special music selections during our services.

There are also opportunities for volunteers who would like to share in the production/broadcast of our services in the area of audio/visual support.

For more information contact Dave Evans, Director of Music Ministries.

Receptionist/office volunteers support the office staff with a variety of duties. They are trained by the office staff to take care of duties which include greeting guests in a warm and friendly manner, answering phone calls, answering basic questions about the church, and assisting with mailings and other office tasks as needed. We work with our volunteers to create a calendar each month that fits their schedules. This is a wonderful way to help with the day-to-day functions of the church office and get to know the office staff. If you'd like to volunteer once a week, once a month, or just once in a while, contact Carolyn Danielson, Office Administrative Assistant.

During COVID-19, we are limiting the number of volunteers until we have more of a need.

Volunteers are needed for facilitating a small group via Zoom and/or providing technical support and encouragement to those new to Zoom. Please email Barb Jones to volunteer.
