Using the book, So you want to talk about race by Ijeoma Oluo, Liz Noland will guide the group through informed and honest conversations about race and racism in the US. They will discuss how systemic racism undergirds many institutions within American society. The group is a good fit for anyone who wants to learn more about the operation of bias at both the individual and systemic levels as well as those who are interested in developing ways to resist anit-Blackness. High school students and adults are invited to participate. Meets at 9:30 on Sundays in the Adult 3 from Feb. 5 through April 2.
