Dear St. Andrew Family,

I am writing to extend an invitation to you to join me and some of the staff from St. Andrew Church for the Praying Forward with Breakthrough Prayer Event on Saturday, February 4.

The Breakthrough Prayer Event is sponsored by the offices of Church Development, Board of Laity, and Leadership Development of the Indiana Conference of the United Methodist Church. Our host for the event will be Rev. Sue Nilson Kibbey who serves as Director of the Bishop Bruce Ough Innovation Center at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. Sue is a nationally recognized trainer, consultant, and author of multiple books and resources, each aimed to equip and fuel the spiritual and missional vision for the church. Sue’s greatest passion is igniting church-wide congregational momentum with what she describes as a “Breakthrough Prayer Initiative.”

I would enjoy discerning and discovering with you and the staff of St. Andrew Church where God is leading us, inviting us, and equipping us to fulfill our missional ministry. I believe this Breakthrough Prayer Event has the potential to help create the ministry momentum for St. Andrew Church that was sidetracked due to the challenges of the recent pandemic.

The Praying Forward with Breakthrough Prayer Event is a Zoom Seminar with 12 host sites across the Indiana Conference. St. Andrew Church will be one of those host sites on February 4. The event begins at 10am and will conclude by 3pm (EST). We will gather with several United Methodist Churches from our area to participate in this wonderful opportunity. You can sign up for this event by going to inumc.org/breakthroughprayer. The cost is $10.00 per person and covers lunch for the day.
