UMC Missionary Presentation
Wednesday, November 16
Time: 6:30pm – 8pm
Do you remember Naomi Kilembo—Purdue student and active member at St. Andrew UMC from 2018-2020? After completing her Master’s in Public Health at Purdue, Naomi returned to Zambia and the large Methodist mission site, Kafakumba, which was her home. This year the Kafakumba Clinic opened its doors under the administrative direction of Naomi!
Nate Steury, will be at St. Andrew Wednesday, Nov. 16, telling the story of Kafakumba and of Naomi and the Clinic, which was a long-time dream of this community. Nate Steury is the director of the Kafakumba Training Center near Ndola, Zambia (heart of the mining industry on the Congo border). Kafakumba provides a wide range of ministries, including pastor training, education, women and children ministries, church leadership, agriculture, economic development, healthcare and more.
Sponsored by the Mission Committee and Know & Grow class, the adventure begins at 6:30 in the Intersection.
Come and learn how we partner with the healing ministry of Christ at the Kafakumba Clinic. Check it out at www.kafakumba.org or on Facebook.
