Woods Edge Summer Ministry

Written by Donna Biehl on . Posted in General Announcements

The Tippecanoe Public Health Department has given St. Andrew the opportunity to serve the children in Woods Edge Subdivision once again this summer. Lunches will be offered During the summer to those children that usually get free school lunches. Your help is needed to get the Woods Edge ministry up and running this summer. Scott Eaker is coordinating the daily leaders for the program and he needs your help! Scott is looking for daily leaders for the Food Finders program at Woods Edge. He needs volunteers to take ownership of the lunch hour for one day a week, Monday through Thursday. This will enable each day to have at least one leader and sever leaders for each day would be ideal. Scott will handle getting substitutes for days that the leaders need to be away, have some time off, vacations, and last minute availability snafus.

Each leader will need to attend one training session either on May 10, 11 a.m. to 12 or May 18 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in order to participate in this outreach ministry. The training will be held at the downtown public library in the McAlister Room B, 627 South Street in Lafayette.

Please let Scott know how you would like to be in ministry with him this summer and which day would suit you best. His e-mail is This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Estate Planning is a Gift to Your Loved Ones!…

Written by Chris Danielson on . Posted in General Announcements

As a pastor I have walked with families and spouses through many painful decisions prompted by the sudden illness or death of their loved one.
Grieving or already distressed loved ones are left with trying to figure out what their parent or spouse would want. Or, they realize that it is too late to make certain decisions that they know would honor the wishes of their loved one.
The road through many other tough times could have been made much easier by planning well-ahead for realities that face each person: retirement, health concerns due to aging, and our eventual passing.
