Caring & Health

At St. Andrew, we always strive to reach out with compassion to those around us. Our own hearts have been warmed by God's grace, and we in turn want to share that love through serving others.  We use the term InTouch Ministries to refer to our caring and health ministries.

The mission of our InTouch Ministries is to love our neighbors through acts of caring that bring healing and health to those in need. We know that Jesus brought spiritual, emotional, and physical wholeness to the people he encountered, and we seek to do the same.

Our caring and health ministries offer a variety of ways to live out this mission -- we seem to have endless creativity in figuring out how to care for others! Our ministries run the gamut from making sure that babies born in our midst receive a beautiful handmade blanket to providing home-delivered meals for families going through difficult times to spending time with our elderly and homebound through personal visits.

InTouch ministries practice the art of "neighboring" by caring for folks both within our community and beyond our walls. If you have questions or ideas, contact Cathi Parish, Director of InTouch Ministries, at cathi@andrew-umc.org or at 765-497-7755.
