Vibrant, participatory worship is a main focus of our community experience at St. Andrew, and we strive to offer excellent and creative options. However, we also realize that some of our members find it difficult to attend worship and that this loss of connection from their home church comes during a life stage that is marked by many other losses.
This ministry offers the sacrament of holy communion once a month to the residents of Westminster Village, a retirement community located near our church. Many St. Andrew members live there and are excited to once again be able to share in a worship experience together. The service is also an outreach ministry and welcomes everyone, whether they have been connected with St. Andrew previously or not.
How It Works
We host our communion service on the third Wednesday of each month at 2:30 p.m. in the Terrace Activity Room at Westminster Village. We provide a brief but deeply meaningful worship service that features beautiful music, devotional thoughts, and shared communion that is open to all who earnestly seek God's grace. One of our pastors presides over communion, and we enjoy plenty of time before and after the service to visit with each other. All are welcome.
Our next meeting is on Wednesday, December, 20th at 2:30pm.
Location: Westminster Village
