Paul Addison
Director of Music Ministries
Paul (he/him) has directed the Chancel Choir since 2015, and more recently added Director of Music Ministry to his role. Paul has a long history with the music program at St. Andrew as an active participant since the 1980s, directing children’s choirs and VBS musicals, singing and playing with the Praise Team, leading brass ensembles for Easter services, and presenting music on the trombone. Paul is living his best "retired" life as part of the local music and community theatre scene.

Danielle Buckley
Director of Children's Ministries
Danielle Buckley (she/her) is the Director of the Children’s Ministries and has been working to make the children's ministry a fun and intentional place for family discipleship. She studied Youth and Pastoral Ministries at Indiana Wesleyan University. She has a passion for sharing the love of God and creating intentional spaces where people feel seen and loved. Danielle loves to read, craft and making people laugh. She is often found in the Kids' Area on Sunday mornings playing games and teaching the kiddos.

Wellington Chiomadzi
Associate Pastor
Pastor Wellington serves half time at St. Andrew and half time as lead pastor with the Lafayette Ubuntu International Community. He has served his pastoral appointments for slightly more than 20 years, in rural, peri-urban and urban congregations in Zimbabwe as well as the USA. Pastor Wellington has been married to his beautiful wife, Felicia, for 30 years and together were blessed with three handsome young adult sons and grandchildren. During his spare time, he enjoys fishing, gardening, and fixing things around the house.

Brian Cook
Lead Pastor
Pastor Brian Cook (he/him) has called Indiana home for more than 30 years, after growing up in Missouri. He has been married to his wife, Michelle, since 1988, and together they share the joy of family life with their son Caleb and two grandchildren.
Brian feels like his call to ministry has been unfolding since 1990, taking shape through a wide range of experiences including youth ministry, college campus ministry, sports chaplaincy with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and pastoral leadership. Each chapter has deepened his passion for helping people discover their place in God’s story.
At the heart of his ministry is a commitment to equipping and encouraging the priesthood of all believers. He believes that every person is called, gifted, and sent to live out their faith in meaningful ways. He is especially energized by helping individuals and communities grow as disciples of Jesus, cultivating spaces where faith is formed, lived, and shared.
When he is not engaged in ministry, he finds renewal in the outdoors. Kayaking, biking, hiking, fishing, hunting, and camping are some of Pastor Brian's favorite outdoor activities. He also enjoys following his favorite sports teams and taking in a good game whenever he can. Other interests include reading a good book, developing his cooking skills, and spending time with family and friends.

Janée Czerwonky
Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries
Janee (she/her) works with our youth and young adults. Currently she oversees discipleship and connection of youth from 6th - 12th grade, along with young adults (twenty somethings). She started her ministry career at First UMC in West Lafayette, then worked for our INUMC Camping Ministry and at Otterbein UMC before joining on staff with St. Andrew. Janee is in seminary and is in the process of becoming an ordained pastor (Deacon) in the UMC. She attends St. Andrew with her husband, David. They have two cat children, Oreo and Aryah. When not working Janee loves to watch movies or shows, scrapbook, or curl up with a good fantasy read! Janee loves a good coffee from local places around Lafayette--consider joining her for one sometime!

Janet Dietz
Communications Specialist
Janet Dietz (she/her) is originally from Yorktown, Indiana, came to West Lafayette as a Purdue student, attended and interned at the Wesley Foundation (United Methodist Campus Ministry) where she met her husband, Jason. They are parents to Isaac and Avery who are busy with college and high school life. Janet enjoys her current opportunity to be creative, communicate details clearly, and communicate ideas visually. In her free time, you can often find her running through the woods, in the kitchen baking, or hanging out with her family.

Barb Jones
Director of Connecting Ministries
Barb (she/her) has called West Lafayette home since 1998 and has been active at St. Andrew since 2000. She joined the staff in 2012 as the first Director of Small Group Ministries. Currently she serves as the Director of Connecting Ministries and finds welcoming and acclimating people to St. Andrew especially rewarding. Barb takes great delight in helping people deepen their connection to God, as they learn and grow in the ways of Jesus. In addition to her part-time job at St. Andrew Barb has been teaching part-time in the Brian Lamb School of Communication at Purdue since the fall of 2001. In her free time she loves to read and enjoy time in nature.

Juan Valdez
Church Caretaker
Juan Valdez (he/him) joined the staff at St. Andrew in 2010. He is originally from Mexico City, Mexico. He has eight sisters and four brothers, most of whom still live in Mexico City. He also works at Purdue University as a custodian. Juan has served in the Mexican Army and studied nursing.
He has four children—two in Mexico and two in the United States. When he isn’t working, Juan enjoys gardening, running, swimming, and working around his house.
