Next steps towards discovering Christ for yourself
We are so glad you landed here.
It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’ve been, or what you’ve done. You matter to God and that means you matter to us.
You are of infinite worth. A masterpiece of God’s creation!
St. Andrew United Methodist Church is made up of real people, living real lives, making mistakes, experiencing joy, doing the best we can with what we have, taking our next steps toward Christ and helping others.
Wherever you are, inside the walls of the church or out, I want to help you take a first step or next step towards Christ with resources you can explore.
Contact me, Pastor Chris, so I can aim the right resources in your direction. Blessings.
At St. Andrew you’ll find a place to discover God and to connect with others. If you are considering attending one of our worship services, please feel free to check out a worship service online.
We sure hope so! We love it when visitors worship with us. You can expect to be welcomed by our greeters, ushers, and other folks in the Commons, but we may not recognize you as a first time visitor. Feel free to say, “This is my first time” and we will make sure to guide you in! Also, know that we won’t single you out publicly or ask you to say anything.
If you need help getting into the church, please drive up to the front entrance and one of our greeters will be available to help you. Our building was designed for accessibility and we have a handicapped entrance at both the main entrance and the back entrance to the church. Our Great Room will easily accommodate wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices. Audio-assistance devices are also available at the Welcome Center if you, or someone in your family, has a hearing impairment. Although our system is considered state-of-the-art, we do know that the sound is stronger in the front sections of the Great Room.
Kids of all ages are always welcome to stay in the Great Room with their families. During this time of COVID-19 and social distancing, a family table may be reserved with a box of craft items and books for the kids.
We are so much more interested in you rather than what you wear. Please wear whatever is comfortable for you.
The main entrance will lead you into the Commons. You’ll find our Welcome Center in the middle and our Coffee Bar to your left. The Great Room (sanctuary) will be straight ahead. Coat racks are located along the halls to the right and left of the Great Room. Restrooms are located on the hall to your right.
Yes, we have a lower parking lot and upper parking lot. The upper lot is much smaller, but is closer to our main entrance and includes a number of handicapped parking spots.
We offer two worship services. The same message is shared at both.
8:30 a.m. – Traditional service of prayers, scripture, and hymns are led by our Chancel Choir with accompaniment by organ, piano, and oftentimes special music. During this time of coronavirus, the Chancel Choir is not participating in worship. Hymns are lead by the Choir Director.
11 a.m. – Contemporary service features music led by our praise team. The Praise Team will wear masks while singing during the service.
