Advent Devotional
July 23, 2025 | Brian Cook

Dear St. Andrew Family,
As we look ahead to the season of Advent, a time of hope, peace, joy, and love, I would like to invite you to join me in a special project that will help us prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ. This year, I would love for us to create our very own St. Andrew Advent Devotional, written by members of our congregation.
Imagine opening a devotional each day of Advent and hearing the voices, stories, and reflections from our own faith community. It’s a beautiful way to journey together toward Christmas, encouraging one another and celebrating the ways God is at work in our lives.
I am looking for volunteers who would be willing to write a short devotional entry or two. Our theme this year will be What Do You Fear: Insisting On Hope This Advent. Each entry could be shared in the form of a poem, a scripture passage, a brief reflection, a prayer, or a thought for the day. No professional writing experience is needed, just a willing heart and a desire to share your faith.
If you would like to be part of this meaningful project, let us know by August 7, 2025, by using the button below or through the church office (765) 497-7755. Once we have a list of writers, I will provide you with guidelines and plenty of support.
Let’s make this Advent season a time of shared faith and hope as we prepare to welcome the Christ Child together.
God Is Able, Keep Looking Up,
Pastor Brian
