Bishop Julius Trimble has announced a new appointment for Rev. Kelly Sellers to the role of Senior Pastor of Otterbein United Methodist Church. This new appointment begins March 1, 2024.

As part of this new appointment arrangement, Rev. Kelly Sellers will remain on the St. Andrew pastoral team as the pastor of Uprooted Faith, the online faith community of St. Andrew Church. Pastor Kelly’s responsibility at St. Andrew will focus her responsibility to the Uprooted Faith ministry team to expand the connection of this online community. This new appointment arrangement will allow Pastor Kelly to remain a part of the St. Andrew pastoral team but in a smaller role. As part of this new appointment, Pastor Kelly, Tony, and family will remain in the St. Andrew parsonage.

It has also been announced that Rev. Brian Cook has been appointed in a very limited role to Otterbein United Methodist Church as Associate Pastor. Pastor Brian will serve under the supervision of Pastor Kelly to Otterbein United Methodist Church to facilitate Kelly’s occasional presence at St. Andrew and further the fruitful mission partnership of the two congregations. It is our hope that this continued partnership will be a blessing to Tippecanoe County, Benton County, and the virtual community that is evolving online.
