St. Andrew UMC is one of 34 local church congregations that support the Tippecanoe County United Food Pantry (sponsored by Church Women United). The pantry is located at 1320 Tippecanoe St. (corner of Tippecanoe & 14th St.) in Lafayette. It is open on Tuesdays 3:30-6:00 pm and Wednesdays 12:00-2:30 pm and serves residents of Tippecanoe County. Last year over 5800 households were served.
 
All pantry workers are volunteers (no one is paid). All cash donations are used to purchase food from Food Finders for 19 cents/pound and purchase fresh eggs and milk each week. These funds also are used to pay for utilities. Food donations placed in the shopping cart near the church office as well as fresh garden produce from the Tithing Garden and home gardens are delivered to TCUFP.

It is our church's turn to staff the pantry (by helping our clients shop) on July 9, 10, 16 and 17.  Two volunteers are needed on both the first two dates.
