Kairos Prison Ministry Fall 2022
October 7, 2022
From October 20, 2022, until the afternoon of October 23, 2022, the Putnamville Kairos team will be conducting an in-prison weekend inside the walls of the Putnamville Correctional Facility. The mission of Kairos Prison Ministry is to share the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men, women, and youth, as well as their families, to become loving and productive citizens of their communities. This ministry relies on the support of local congregations to pray for the weekend, draws posters and placemats of encouragement (available in the Commons) and to help defer the costs of feeding our guests and housing our team in local hotels. Kairos is one of the ministries supported by St. Andrew's mission budget. Also on October 23, at about 2 pm, there will be a graduation ceremony inside the prison for our guests that you are invited to attend. If you would like to attend, please let Andrew Daigle know soon because there are requirements and guidelines.
We know God has a plan for the incarcerated individuals that will be attending this weekend. We are looking forward to seeing lives change for the better, both inside and on the team. We have spent the last few months preparing the team for this mission, and with God’s grace, we are ready to listen, listen, love, love. If you have any questions, Andrew Daigle or Josh Annin would be happy to answer them. Thank you, Saint Andrew, for all that you do, not just for Kairos, but for all the areas this church impacts. None of this is possible without you.
