LTHC 8th Street Commons
8th Street Commons is one of Lafayette Transitional Housing Center's (LTHC) Permanent Supportive Housing units. Residents have individual apartments and share a common kitchen. Volunteers from The Lafayette Plarn Project, St. Andrew United Methodist Church, and Connection Point Church are being solicited to provide the food that is needed for a Christmas meal that will be celebrated a bit early on December 22. You would prepare your donation for delivery on December 21. The address for 8th Street Commons is located at 312 N. 8th Street in downtown Lafayette.  Sign up for how you are willing to donate.

LTHC Homeless Persons Memorial Service
December 21 is National Homeless Persons Memorial Day.  Did you know that 16 people passed away in Lafayette without family and likely without a memorial service? LTHC holds a memorial service and luncheon on this day.  Help is needed to provide a hot meal for the 120 folks who will attend. Volunteers from The Lafayette Plarn Project PLUS, St. Andrew United Methodist Church, and Connection Point Church are being asked to contribute side dishes, desserts, and paper goods. Like Jesus did when feeding the 5000, the feeding will be broken down into manageable contributions. Sign up for how you are willing to donate or volunteer.

Plan to deliver your donations to LTHC at Door 4, located on the corner of Union and 13th Streets in downtown Lafayette on December 20 between 9 and 4.
