The Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) has thoroughly discussed the future challenges and opportunities for ministry in the coming years over the past several months.

Paul Zurcher, the founder of Best-One Tire, and a member of the UMC in Indiana, suggests that in order for an organization to thrive, “You must look into the future and bring it into the present.”

Here are transitions the SPRC wanted to either remind you of or inform you of that will shape our future.

Dave Evans, who has served as our Director of Music Ministries for many years, will no longer be serving us in that capacity as of February 1, 2022. We extend our many thanks and appreciation for Dave’s years of service at St. Andrew. Dave wore many hats in those years to bring us to where we are today. Express your appreciation to him when you see him.

Carolyn Danielson, who served in our office on the phones, the front desk, Pastor’s Assistance calls, the Worship Planning Team, and in publishing hundreds of weeks of bulletins prior to Covid, retired at the end of December 2021. Carolyn was a wonderful ambassador, and we wish her the very best.

The SPRC asks for your prayers in the weeks ahead. They have much work to do in the weeks ahead as they actively reimagine and fill positions on the church staff, including: Director of Children and Family Ministries; Praise Team Leader/Worship AV Coordinator; and Communications.
