St. Andrew is a welcoming community who values authentic connection. Connecting Ministries, under the leadership of Barb Jones, is here to help you get acclimated and to feel at home. We offer opportunities throughout the year to make meaningful connections through conversations, classes, small groups, and more. Connection is holy work!

We look forward to getting to know you. Please stop by the Welcome Center in the Commons and you will find someone ready to welcome you and answer your questions. Please complete a Connection Card! Cards are available at the Welcome Center and also on our website. This is an important first step!

Barb Jones, Director of Connecting Ministries, is here to guide you in getting connected at St. Andrew. Barb is available most Sunday mornings in the Commons for a conversation about your interests and where you might enjoy meeting people, growing in your faith, and serving.

We hold an annual Getting Connected Dinner. If you have recently started attending St. Andrew or have been attending a while but St. Andrew still feels "new," you are invited to learn about the heart of this church and ways to get connected. This is also a great opportunity to chat with the church pastors and staff in an informal setting.

Each fall we offer St. Andrew 101. This four-week class will help you learn more about St. Andrew, the United Methodist Church, and find meaningful connections at St. Andrew. Those interested in becoming members of St. Andrew will be guided through that process as an extension of the St. Andrew 101 experience.

One of the favorite ways people have told us they have gotten connected at St. Andrew is through participation in the Midweek Connection. Starting the Wednesday after Labor Day, the Midweek Connection meets for six Wednesday evenings each fall and offers an opportunity to share a meal and then participate in a small group. Nursery Care and Kids' Path make this something the whole family can enjoy together! Groups for students and adults vary each year, but may include groups that focus on the Bible, social justice, topics of faith, as well as creative skill-based groups such as quilting and crocheting. Those who serve in the kitchen on the meal prep and clean-up teams also find this to be a time of connection.

Our weekly online newsletter is the best way to be in the know about what's happening at St. Andrew. Sign up now using the form at the bottom of the page. Staying Connected will arrive in your inbox each Friday morning with all of the current news and events happening at St. Andrew. It is an important resource for connection.
