St. Andrew members, family, and friends who have been remembered with memorial gifts to St. Andrew UMC are recognized through the efforts of the Memorials Ministry. The Memorials Committee works with the families of the deceased and with the church to determine an appropriate use of the memorial funds. The items and services purchased are usually outside the budget of the church and enriching to the congregation. Some of the past gifts include the picnic shelter, the patio furniture, the organ, technology, furniture for Student Ministries, flatware for funeral dinners, establishment of an endowment, recovering of many of the chairs in the Great Room, camperships, choir robes, music, and landscaping.
Persons memorialized are listed on a large plaque in the hall outside the offices and a touch screen computer beside it displays photos and information about each person and the memorial gift.
