Important COVID-19 Worship Information Update
January 16, 2021
Continued Suspension of In-Person Worship
As COVID-19 positivity numbers and deaths continue to rise throughout Indiana, including Tippecanoe County, Bishop Trimble urges all UMC congregations in Indiana to continue to suspend in-person worship. Bishop Trimble states, “I know it has been difficult not meeting in gathered sanctuary worship. Please continue moving forward for the foreseeable future using adaptive ways of connecting. I believe it to be the better part of wisdom to continue to not meet in person at your churches.”
Therefore, until further notice, we will continue to suspend all in-person worship services except for the personnel required to Livestream the services on our website and Facebook page.
The Church office will remain open for the time being during the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to noon on Fridays. The church staff are able to safely make accommodations to their work schedules to allow some to work from home and a limited number to provide coverage in the office.
Pray for God’s guidance as we seek to stay connected through this pandemic. It is a hardship for all of us. However, we must be willing to do in the short run what is best for the long run.
Blessings
Pastor Chris
