The children's ministry at St. Andrew provides meaningful and interactive opportunities for birth through elementary school.
We utilize developmentally appropriate curriculum and resources that are inclusive and celebrate our connection with each other and to God. You can learn more about Orange curriculum in Family Ministry Resources.
We seek to build community through Sunday morning classes (Kids' Growth Groups), family-focused events, and seasonal offerings such as Vacation Bible School.
What to Expect
When attending on a Sunday, everyone is invited to attend worship together. Art tables are available for kids in our worship space with a variety of supplies for creating while they are listening. Children from birth through age three are welcome in the nursery during both services. At 9:30 am, KGGs are available for those in preschool through fifth grade. During the school year, Kids' Connection meets at 10:30 am for preschool through third grade, with the kids leaving partway through the service.
To Learn More
We provide childcare during all services for infants through age three. The nursery is located near the sanctuary.
All nursery staff members are hired by the church and have had a background check, training, and abide by church policies and guidelines.
Kids of all ages are always welcome to stay in the Great Room with their families. Art tables are available in the Great Room where kids can create during worship. Nursery care is available for ages 0-3, Growth Groups are available for preschool through middle school at 9:30 am, and those in preschool through third grade are dismissed to Kids' Connection during the 10:30 am service.
